JBL’s Guess and win! A title shot!

June 1, 2007

Goodday, my fellow superstars! A new era has dawned, The JBL era!

With me being champion and all, and being virtually unbeatable, I will write out a contest. I will place a photo here and it’s up to all of you, SD! roster, to guess who it is. To make things a little more complicated: it is a photo of a very young WWE superstar. If you can guess who it is, you got yourself a title shot! But wait, I hear you think, where’s the catch? Haha, the catch is, it will be a match of my choosing… Good luck to all of you!

The contest begins after Judgment Day, after I kick the Undertaker’s unholy ass.

    May 31, 2007

The Heart Break Kid Shawn Michaels was guest at Rowdy Piper’s Pit last Thursday!

Rowdy Piper: There were also rumors of DX returning, can you tell us something about that?
Shawn: No comment. No, wait! I do have a comment on that, otherwise people might consider those rumors true. The origin of these rumors lie in the fact that Hunter and I go way back, we’re close friends. He came to my lockerroom to talk about what happened. That’s just what friends do. So any stipulation of DX returning is nonsense. DX is history. It was fun while it lasted. That’s all I got to say about that.

Check out the rest of the interview at Piper’s Pit!

No Holds Barred! : HBK vs. Neidhart

    May 30, 2007

    hbk001.jpgneidhart003.jpg

Raw errupted in chaos when things got out of control at the tag team match between HBK & Masters vs. The Hart Foundation. Neidhart interfered the match on behalf of The Hitman and HBK was clearly not amused and retaliated with a vengeance. Neidhart was DQ-ed and Michaels pinned Brett Hart, taking the win for him and his partner Chris Masters. After the match referee’s had to race down the isle to seperate HBK and Neidhart.

The Commitee of Executives has ordered both competitors of the RAW brand to sign a contract to face eachother settling their disputes for once and for all in an one on one No Holds Barred Grudge Match!

Since The Hart Foundation made some strong comments on HBK as of late, most probably the Heartbreak Kid will take on both Canadians. However he is not alone, since some unconfirmed rumors backstage indicate that HBK will be backed up by none other than his former tag team partner : Triple H, which will define the return of DX!!! In what fashion remains to be seen, but we might witness one of the greatest feuds in WWE history with these two legendary tag teams colliding at RAW!

RAW darkmatch : Triple H becomes nr.1 contender!

    May 29, 2007

    triple-h002.jpg

After RAW went off the air, Triple H came down the ring with a clear message to the competition that he wasnt done yet!

The 4-man Over the Top BattleRoyal to determine the nr.1 contender eventually took place with Lashley, Cena and Orton hitting the ring!

With action spilling all over the squared circle the BattleRoyal became a slugfest between all 4 competitors to obtain that shot at Edge’s WWE championshipgold.

It was Randy Orton disposing Lashley by tumbling him over the top rope, while Triple H and John Cena punished eachother hitting respectively their trademarkers. While Triple H was knocked down it was Orton again to take advantage and eliminating Cena from the fight.

Triple H recovered and went one on one with Orton. While Orton seemed to have the upper hand, he could not get Triple H over the top rope, which resulted into a frustrated Orton. Eventually it was Triple H turning the odds around and pummeled Orton over the top rope to become the Nr.1 contender for the WWE Championship!!!

Last sunday, Raw was a Pay-Per-View worthy eventful night! We saw two titles change hands, a couple of rivalries blooming, a some great WWE action. Tag Team Champions The Great Khali & Snitsky were up against Umaga & Kurt Angle defending their hard-earned title they aquired at Backlash. In a brutal steel cage match, were both teams displayed great action, it was Snitsky who completely dominated the cage. While Angle and Umaga were busy keeping The Great Khali down, Snitsky was like a child in a candy store, clubbing and slammin’ away on his opponent. Umaga then realized that Snitsky’s strategy would very soon pay off in a succesful title defense, he then unleashed a relentless attack on Snitsky, who got momentarily stunned by a well executed Samoan drop. Kurt Angle locked in submission move after submission move to keep Khali down. Apparently, Khali gave in to Kurt’s submissals and both Kurt Angle and Umaga climbed the cage simultaneously to their victory as new WWE Tag Team Champions!

In other action, Mankind dominated Stone Cold Steve Austin, but eventually got disqualified after he nailed SCSA with a thunderous chairshot. The former Tag team, who were first in line for the titles, developed a deep hatred for eachother in the past few weeks. VWE has announced that Stone Cold has sustained a mild concussion due to Mankind’s chairshot, and will not be able to compete in the next few weeks. SCSA had this to say: “Mankind has completely lost it, i don’t know what came over him. Here’s the bottom line: I WILL be back when HIS Judgment day arrives”.

The Intercontinental Division has developed itself to be the most attractive division since the start of VWE. Mr. Perfect is the latest and greatest after deafeating Ric Flair in a record-breaking pin, only seconds after the match started! Raw’s GM changed the stipulation at the last minute, after Mankind and the Nature Boy conspired backstage. Mickie James was added as special referee. Flair was baffled by her appearance and found himself in a pinning predicament. She called it right down the middle, Mr. Perfect got the win. And the Title.

If the Hart Foundation want to earn their spot on Raw, they’d better get their act together!” Those are Shawn Michaels’ heated words after the match he and Chris Masters won after a fierce protest with Raw’s GM on Raw last sunday. Shawn is furious at Jim Neidhart. “He keeps breaking the friggin’ Tag rules, interfering CONSTANTLY! I was so fed up, I was ready to leave the building right away“. Venom promised to talk to Neidhart and to give him a copy of the book Rules of Professional Wrestling. The match started out with both teams well on their toes, determined to entertain the millions and millions of fans. But as the match progressed, it became obvious that Jim Neidhart wasn’t completely recovered from his wife passing away last month. Venom asked Shawn to take it easy on Jim and that he’d have a talk with him.

What should be a walk-over in Edge’s mind, turned out to be a nightmare for our WWE Champion. In a “training match” Edge squared off in a two on one match against MNM. In a mind blowing match, Johnny Nitro profiled himself as a ruthless S.O.B. He gained the crowd’s respect that night. They loved MNM. Edge on the other hand may even have trouble to exactly remember what happened, he got the beating of a lifetime. Many of the superstars in the lockerroom stood speechless after the flawless performance of MNM. Some even went ahead of matters and knew right then and there that MNM are the future Tag Team Champions. Edge was hospitalized after taking blow after blow. He was discharged the next day, and miraculously sustaining no major injuries. Raw’s GM Venom hopes that he will be able to defend his title at Judgment Day: “if Edge is a no-show, he forfeits his title automatically. I’ve got plan B ready“.

Alas, with television time costing loads of money, the real main event got a no-go. Besides, MNM gave a hell of a show, it was doubtfull if this main event got top it. After reviewing his recent victories, Raw’s GM Venom decided that The Legend Killer Randy Orton would get a title shot at Judgment Day against Edge. When asked what “Plan B” was, Venom answered: “Look, I highly doubt that Edge will not show, but IF that’s the case, I will reveal on Judgment Day what Plan B is, and not a moment sooner“.

    Thursday 17.05.2007

The first PPV event Backlash! kicked off with an old-fashioned bar-brawl between John Cena and Randy Orton. The winner would face the WWE Champ Edge later on that night in the Hell in a Cell main event! Both competitors destroyed the interior and in the end it was Orton knocking Cena out cold.

In a triple threat match Gregory Helms became the NEW WWE Cruiserweight Champion after pinning the former champion Chavo Guerrero, while Rey Mysterio was a second too late to interrupt the 1-2-3 count! WWE Tag Team champions The Great Khali & Snitsky succesfully defended the WWE Tag Team title against the team of Kurt Angle and Umaga! The Great Khali manhandled both challengers and made a clear statement to the competition he is a monster!

Batista and The Rock faced each other in a gruesome First Blood match! The match endured past the 15-minute mark and went back and forth in favour of both competitors. Batista finished off The Rock with several devastating steelchair-shots to the head. Rowdy Roddy Piper returned to the squared circle first time in years to referee the Smackdown Tag Team Championship Match between the champions Mr. Kennedy & Matt Hardy against Benoit & RVD! Both teams weared each other down and the match errupted into an all out brawl where RVD provoked Piper resulting in disqualification of the challengers. Mr. Kennedy & Matt Hardy succesfully retained the Smackdown championship!

For the WWE Intercontinental title champion Shawn Michaels took on Ric Flair and the former Smackdown competitor Mr.Perfect in a Triple Threat TLC match! All kind of weapons were brought into the match to destroy the opponents. From chairs to tables, to sledgehammers and barb-wired bats. In the end it was Mr.Perfect getting the pinfall over the champ to become the new WWE Intercontinental Champion!

The Big Show became the new and largest US Champion ever by defeating the champ Booker T! Backlash! was also the setting of the reunion of one of the worlds most succesfull tag teams ever : The Hart Foundation : Bret The Hitman Hart & Jim The Anvil Neidhart. Together with Bobby Lashley, The Hart Foundation entered the ring to face the team of Triple H, Stone Cold Steve Austin & Mankind. Neidhart was quickly eliminated after receiving a StoneCold-stunner. Although Lashley managed to fight off his opponents, eventually he was worn down and pedigreed by Triple H. In the end Triple H pinned Bret Hart 1-2-3. Triple H, Stone Cold Steve Austin & Mankind were victorious!

The World Heavyweight Champion JBL met the phenom, The Undertaker in a Last Man Standing match. Hard blows were exchanged and the fight went to the outside, where both competitors clashed. JBL decimated The Undertaker with the Clothesline from Hell and succesfully retained the World Heavyweight title.

Last but not least, the WWE Champ Edge succesfully defended his championshipgold in the Hell of a Cell-structure against Randy Orton, who became the nr.1 contender after defeating John Cena earlier that night. Edge made short work of Orton by pulling off a devastating spear early in the match. The fight continued outside the ring, where both competitors were thrown and knocked into the unforgiving steel of the cell. Edge finished off Orton in a short but brutal match!
